Dr. Liberman is a psychiatrist on the faculty at George Washington University, where he does a combination of teaching, patient care, and writing.

He has also an award-winning educator, a recipient of the Caron Foundation Research Award, and has published more than 50 peer-reviewed book chapters and articles.
