  • Avoiding the Dangers of Mechanical Ventilation: An Alternative Life-Saving Oxygen Therapy

Avoiding the Dangers of Mechanical Ventilation: An Alternative Life-Saving Oxygen Therapy

Over 50 percent of people who are put on mechanical ventilation don’t survive.

But for many, there is another option. Dr. Gutierrez explains.

    Press play to learn:

    • How the use of high-flow nasal cannulas significantly reduces the concern of aerosolizing the COVID-19 virus and infecting healthcare workers
    • Why it can be so dangerous, if not fatal, to place people on mechanical ventilators
    • How high-flow nasal cannulas can be used as a replacement for mechanical ventilation in treating a number of diseases

Dr. Eddy Gutierrez is a critical care specialist at Baptist Medical Center in Florida who joins the show to share his firsthand experience in treating COVID-19 patients, and the benefits of replacing mechanical ventilation with high-flow nasal cannulas.

When COVID-19 first hit, Dr. Gutierrez and his colleagues were shocked by the high level of mortality and difficulty caring for those with the virus—especially since they always prioritized staying on the cutting edge of medicine and medical technology.

Initially, the conventional treatment for COVID-19 was to deliver oxygen to patients by putting them on mechanical ventilators. Dr. Gutierrez says it quickly became clear that there weren’t going to be enough ventilators, which led to the use of a life-saving technology called a high-flow nasal cannula.

And it really is life-saving, considering that the mortality rate of those who need to be intubated and put on a mechanical ventilator is so high, and the complications so numerous.

The high-flow nasal cannula is placed over the face of the patent and delivers a much higher flow of oxygen to the patient than conventional cannulas, but at the same time allows the patient to continue eating, communicating with loved ones on the phone or video chat, and even walking around in their hospital rooms.

Someone who is on a ventilator, in contrast, is unable to move, eat, or even breathe on their own, and may experience deadly consequences.

  • Behavioral Economics and Lockdown Ramifications – Moving the World Economy Forward in the Wake of Covid-19

Behavioral Economics and Lockdown Ramifications – Moving the World Economy Forward in the Wake of Covid-19

How could countries worldwide have handled the economic policies during the pandemic more effectively? The implementation of different strategies could have prevented further financial hardship, research shows.

    Press play to learn:

    • How lockdowns affected the global economy
    • If vaccine passports are in our near future
    • If restrictions correlate with positive results in the age of Covid-19

Professor of economics at The University of New South Wales, Gigi Foster, discusses the detriments of lockdowns and the economic mishandling of the pandemic.

Targeted protection could have been implemented early in the pandemic to avoid later restrictions that were more detrimental to the economy. Lockdowns may not have been the best solution for protecting human welfare while keeping economic principles in mind.

While lockdowns feel safe and effective, they may do more harm than good. Public debate on rationality during this time may move approach towards a global agreement.

  • The COVID-19 Trail of Evidence Leads to a Globalist Society

The COVID-19 Trail of Evidence Leads to a Globalist Society

What if viruses didn’t actually exist? What if bacteria and fungi didn’t actually cause disease? Most people dream of a world where this is the case, but it might already be.

    In this episode, you’ll learn:

    • Why everything you think you know about viruses and germ theory may be wrong
    • What Dr. Kaufman sees as the only four drivers of illness
    • Why over the last century, no cures for diseases have been found; only medications that reduce symptoms and must be taken on a long-term or lifelong basis
    • Which organizations fund almost all medical research, and why scientists are beholden to research only the objectives set by the people at the top, like Dr. Fauci
    • How watching TV changes your brain waves, and makes you more receptive to the messages you hear

Dr. Andrew Kaufman is a forensic psychiatrist and natural healing consultant, who even before COVID-19, was gearing up to begin publicly criticizing mainstream medicine.

When COVID-19 was declared a pandemic by the WHO, Dr. Kaufman knew something serious was going on, and began putting his forensic training to work by examining the literature and evidence trail behind all the claims being made in mainstream media.

Through years of research, beginning long before COVID-19, Dr. Kaufman has discovered something that most people wouldn’t even believe: not a single scientific study on any known illness has ever actually purified a virus out of a sick person.

Papers that claim to have discovered viruses point to the particles put out by dying and diseased cells through a basic biological process called exocytosis. Based only on this finding, countless scientists have drawn the conclusion that viruses cause infection, when in fact, their experiments could not possibly show this. As a result, it can truly be said that viruses have not been proven to exist by scientific experiment.

Over the past century, billions of dollars have been spent researching germs and viruses as the causes of illness, with no success. “While all this frivolous research has been going on to support a devoid theory, there’s been almost no research looking for true causes of disease,” says Dr. Kaufman.

He shares a story of a microbiology professor who grew a pure culture of vibrio cholerae, the bacteria that is supposedly the cause of cholera, a deadly illness that kills a lot of people in developing countries. This professor, on a yearly basis, would swallow this bacterium in front of his classes to show that he would not get ill. And indeed, he never got ill. It has since been shown that cholera is caused by the waste products of vibrio cholerae, which are produced when the bacteria metabolize sewage. The toxic waste product—NOT the bacterium itself—is the cause of illness and death.

Dr. Kaufman also explains how the existence of microbiomes contradicts germ theory, why it is nearly impossible for scientists to research topics of their own choosing, what intentions he believes are driving the COVID-19 “pandemic” and response, and how the combined use of hypnosis through repeated false messaging in the media, psychological conditioning, and fear is successfully manipulating the way people are thinking and behaving in response to COVID-19.

He also talks about areas in the world where people are being incarcerated or detained for not wearing a mask or simply taking a walk outside (and whether this level of control will come to the U.S.), the implications of the recent CDC statement that those who are vaccinated can attend in-person gatherings, why so many people aren’t willing to accept the truth, and more.

  • A Puzzle of Lies Doesn’t Create a Picture of Truth: Dissecting COVID-19 with John C. A. Manley

A Puzzle of Lies Doesn’t Create a Picture of Truth: Dissecting COVID-19 with John C. A. Manley

What does COVID-19 have to do with a novel? It’s been formed by a collection of lies and exaggerations, all woven together in a way that makes it believable, and even compelling…but only to some.

    Press play to learn:

    • The science behind why masks do not block airborne COVID-19 virus particles, and how, upon close examination, the official CDC story corroborates this truth
    • How a major nursing home problem in Ontario, Canada was declared a national emergency and pandemic
    • What the health authorities could and should be recommending people do in order to strengthen their immune system and protect themselves against illness, including the COVID-19 virus
    • In what way the COVID-19 “vaccine” is not actually a vaccine

John C. A.  Manley is the founder of muchadoaboutcorona.ca, writer of a newsletter on all things COVID-19, and is finishing up a novel called Much Ado About Corona: A Dystopian Love Story. He also has over a decade of experience ghostwriting for medical doctors, naturopaths, chiropractors, and Ayurvedic physicians.

His perspective on the COVID-19 situation is very different from the one you’ll find in mainstream media. He realized from the beginning how serious the implications on society would be, and was compelled to start writing a book on it.

“What struck me was that everything about it, at every level, appeared like a lie…Nothing made sense in every regard, from how they were handling the situation to what they were claiming the situation was,” says Manley.

“People accepted it so much…because it is such a big lie with so many parts that do fit well together, but…just because a lot of lies fit well together doesn’t mean that they’re true. I’m a novelist; a novel basically involves a whole bunch of chapters that are all lies, but you make them work together so they seem believable,” he adds.

The discussion touches on a number of subjects, from the COVID-19 response and statistics in Canada, to mask regulations and studies which show that the use of masks actually breeds disease rather than prevents it, the correlation between better health outcomes and higher carbon dioxide levels, the positives and negatives of the lockdowns, how the response to COVID-19 varies from one geographical area to the next, the possibility of forced vaccination, and much more.

Home Is Where the Health Is: Unmasking U.S. and Global Health Inequalities

Where do you call home? Believe it or not, your answer could explain your health status.

Tune in to learn how, and discover:

    • Why zip code is the biggest predictor of health in the U.S., and what this reveals about health disparities
    • What advances have been made in the prevention and treatment of HIV over the past decade
    • What is meant by the “power of the purse” and how it can be used to help combat health inequalities
    • How much is decided at the local level, and how individuals can get their voices heard

Céline Gounder is CEO/President/Founder of Just Human Productions, a nonprofit media company aimed at addressing and educating on matters of health inequality in the U.S. and beyond. She’s also a practicing HIV/infectious diseases specialist and internist, epidemiologist, and producer of two podcasts: one on health and social justice, and the other on COVID-19.

It was her interest in the intersection of science and the service of others—especially marginalized people—that led her to the field of infectious diseases, which tend to disproportionately impact certain communities, like those of color, LGBTQ, the homeless, and users of injectable drugs.

“Like COVID, it’s a test for how socially and economically vulnerable you are, and what your access to health looks like,” says Dr. Gounder.

She discusses the variability of environmental exposure to toxins and infectious diseases, the importance of jobs when it comes to health inequalities, risk factors for HIV, what people can do to have an impact on the health of communities, how the media landscape has changed in recent decades, why a vaccine for HIV has been so difficult to develop, how she sees the COVID-19 situation evolving over the next year or two, and more.

  • A Unique Perspective on Responses to and Consequences of COVID-19 Around the World

A Unique Perspective on Responses to and Consequences of COVID-19 Around the World

How have governments around the world differed in their responses to COVID-19? How have various countries been impacted by the lockdowns?

Tune in for the answers, and to learn:

    • How “building citizens to build a nation” has become less practiced in countries around the world, and how this might impact the way people and countries have responded to the COVID-19 situation
    • Why Olney doesn’t think “The Great Reset” will take hold
    • How the response to COVID-19 is playing out in China, and what impact it is having on people in the developing world

Associate lecturer at the University of Adelaide and member of Politics and International Relations (POLIR), David Olney, returns to the show to discuss his perspective on the COVID-19 situation, from the beginning right up to the current day, and even what he thinks it looks like moving forward.

He shares his opinion of how, when, and where the virus came about, his experience living in Australia when the virus hit, the response to COVID-19 in China and the Hong Kong protests that preceded it, why the pandemic is just as much an image issue as a health concern for many governments, the COVID-19 vaccine, COVID-19 and economies, the many ways of dealing with inflation (and the inflation that’s occurred with masks), and more.

  • COVID-19 and the Shortcomings of International Governments – An In-Depth Examination with Economist Sanjeev Sabhlok

COVID-19 and the Shortcomings of International Governments – An In-Depth Examination with Economist Sanjeev Sabhlok

How have the mass hysteria and international lockdowns impacted the world economy and the daily lives of people worldwide?

Principles of economics can be used to explain virtually every stage of the process.

    Tune in to learn:

    • How international governments have failed their citizens and set them up for failure moving forward
    • If a turning point is on the horizon for the pandemic in 2021
    • Why lockdowns are ineffective when used to stop COVID-19

Sanjeev Sabhlok, a former Indian Administrative Service member and government economist working in Melbourne, Australia, shares his experience with international economics and corruption and sheds light on the current state of the world amidst COVID-19.

Mr. Sabhlok discusses the sunk cost fallacy and how it perpetuates the current state of affairs in governments worldwide. This creates mass hysteria, which only proves to exacerbate the already out-of-hand situation. The principles of lockdown and quarantine are also called into question and the types of infectious diseases that are effectively quelled by these practices.

Principles of economics can help solve the mysteries of why the Coronavirus has been handled so inefficiently by the world governments and how it has affected international trade. The significant players of the pandemic are revealed, and the interactions between China, the World Health Organization, and the Imperial College are broken down to show how specific entities are benefiting from economic and societal shutdowns.

  • Masks, Vaccines, and Lung Damage: An inside View of the Evolving Fight Against Covid-19 in The Netherlands

Masks, Vaccines, and Lung Damage: An inside View of the Evolving Fight Against Covid-19 in The Netherlands

How is the rest of the world responding to the Covid-19 pandemic and how is the virus itself changing over time? Jim Bijl, Finding Genius listener and Pulmonary Function Technician in The Netherlands, weighs in on the state of the global Covid-19 pandemic.

    Tune in to discover:

    • The typical stages of a Covid-19 infection
    • The effectiveness of mask mandates and other public health interventions
    • The role of the media and politics in response to the pandemic

As a technician who administers pulmonary function tests and has access to the pulmonary function test results of patients with Covid-19 in comparison to those with other lung diseases, such as cystic fibrosis, SARS, Influenza, pulmonary fibrosis, and MERS, Jim has a unique perspective on the pandemic and the world’s response to its threats in both the short and the long term.

If most of the people who suffer severe consequences from Covid-19 have preexisting conditions, such as a cystic fibrosis diagnosis, does this mean that precautions should be relaxed for the rest of the population? If the rate of survival in those who are hospitalized in intensive care units for Covid-19 related complications is increasing, should the status of the pandemic as a whole be re-evaluated?

After working up close and personal with Covid-19 patients, Jim shares his experiences and opinions on the potential for longer term side effects of the virus, including reduced lung capacity, and how long they might last for most patients. From vaccines and masks to politics and the media, Jim offers insights from inside the medical community on how the world may look post Covid-19 pandemic.

  • Sex Workers, Aspirin, and AIDS: Could this Combination of Factors be the Key to More Effective HIV Prevention?

Sex Workers, Aspirin, and AIDS: Could this Combination of Factors be the Key to More Effective HIV Prevention?

Could female Kenyan sex workers be the key to preventing HIV spread on a much larger scale? Keith Fowke, Head of the Department of Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases Professor at the University of Manitoba, explains the connection between these Kenyan sex workers and HIV resistance, plus what this could mean for the future of HIV prevention as a whole.

    Tune in to discover:

    • The genetic basis for resistance to HIV transmission in certain ethnic groups
    • Stages of the HIV life cycle
    • HIV and immune system factors that could translate to new disease prevention technology

HIV and AIDS have devastated parts of the world over the past five decades. Africa has been particularly affected by the epidemic. Now, specific populations of sex workers in Kenya have shown resistance to the HIV virus, despite repeated exposure for decades, thanks to their quiescent immune systems.

What information can be taken from these women and applied to other groups of people across the world to prevent more HIV infections? Keith and Fowke Lab has been studying alternative HIV prevention methods, including low dose aspirin therapy and genital topical antiviral agents, with promising results.

If certain genes increase HIV resistance in some people, can other genes contribute to faster and more aggressive disease progression in others?

Can the human immune system be further manipulated by medication or other treatments to protect against HIV infection or progression? How important are the genetics of the person being potentially infected versus the genetics of the virus? Professor Fowke shares the answers to these questions and much more.
