Founder/CEO, Elyse Petersen, of Tealet, runs a cutting edge, online tea company, whose success is derived from a passion for tea, crypto technology and overall global wellness. Elyse shares her experiences of the trials, tribulations and eventual triumphs of doing business across borders. Part of her goal in making Tealet a success was to find the answer to one of the biggest problems she noticed: the end profit the local farmer was receiving after foreign transactions fees and everyone else got their cut. Elyse saw an opportunity here to use the power of bitcoin to overcome some of these obstacles, cutting those fees and in the end bridging the gap between consumer and grower.
