Bitcoin mining has become more difficult over the years. Back in the day, you could just set up your own laptop and be minting new Bitcoins with that computer alone.
But it’s still feasible today—just as long as you have a cheap source of electricity.
“There’s a science behind mining,” says Alejandro De La Torre. “You have to consider various factors, such as electricity, bandwidth.” You also have to look at it as an operation.
“Sometimes miners might turn off, or the electricity might go off.
