CEO & Co-Founder of Iris AI, Anita Schjøll Brede, joins us again us for another discussion on their latest exciting developments and also introduces listeners to Project Aiur.
Iris AI is certainly doing their part in changing the world of science. Science is, after all one of the most important fields of study, but it can also be dysfunctional in certain ways. Information overload can be an issue when it comes to research and data. There is so much scientific research in the world, it can be incredibly challenging for a layman to navigate and find what is exactly needed.
Have you ever heard of too much of a good thing? The problem with having such a huge amount of scientific research is that most of it never gets used. Over the past few years Iris AI has developed a few different tools aimed at solving these issues.
One of the ways in which Iris AI is doing this is through semi-automating the process of mapping out what you should read to solve a problem or to see what research you need to do to solve a problem.
Additionally through a community-governed artificial intelligence engine referred to as Project Aiur, Iris AI aims to further the reach of scientific knowledge around the world. The tool uses blockchain technology and AI to allow users to access and contribute to a validated source of scientific research.
The engine is called, “Knowledge Validation Engine”. Basically, users submit research and have it verified against all other related research in the world. Over time the idea is to have built an immense collection of research that has been validated.
